#8 in the list of free things to do in Pendleton!

Talk a hike or a walk in town or out in our wide open spaces.

A few suggestions; The Pendleton River Walk is a beautiful walk along the Umatilla River right through Pendleton!

Check out this website for lots of ideas on a hike in the Umatilla National Forest http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/uma/recreation/trails.shtml

McKay Creek National Wildlife Refuge on Highway 395, 8 miles south of Pendleton, OR offers a beautiful setting close to town. Check out their website for more information http://www.fws.gov/refuges/profiles/index.cfm?id=13582

These are only a few of many options.
