Pendleton Round-Up Court Run in Thursday 2009

If you haven't seen the Pendleton Round-Up Court's exciting run in at the start of the rodeo each day you don't know what you have missed. In addition to being beautiful these girls have some mad skills!  Look at the first shot, she has all the cowboys attention! Do they ever ride hard and get the crowd in the mood for an exciting day of Rodeo fun. Oh and by the way it was "Are you tough enough to wear pink day" and don't those cowboys all look great in their pink shirts!

The Rainbow - Where good friends & traditions meet!

With 125 years under their belt the Rainbow Cafe is the oldest continuous operating business in Pendleton and it shows in all the best ways! The cafe is loaded with years of memories including the most complete collection of photos of the All-Around Cowboys from the Annual Pendleton Round-Up. They invite you to come and be a part of the controlled chaos during Round-Up or any time. If you visit during Round-Up the chaos may be slightly less controlled and the lines may be long in the evenings to get in but that is because of it's traditions.

Daughters of the Nile - Charming in Pendleton

This Charming group from the Daughters of the Nile were recently visiting Pendleton! They were seriously charming! In addition to their charming personalities, it seems they are hooked on the Pendleton Charm Trail! It took the whole staff to assist them in their quest for some of the famous Charms on our Trail. If you haven't heard about our charm trail before it is a fun way to enjoy this western town. You pick up your bracelet and signature "Pendleton, Oregon - What a Kick" charm at the Trail Head or aka the Visitors Center and then you go all over town visiting merchants who sell their own exclusive charm on the trail. One of these charming ladies had three or four bracelets! We had so much fun with them and can't wait to see them again next year! Daughters of the Nile are an international fraternal organization that has prospered as a social and charitable organization since 1913. Their organization contributes over 1 million dollars annually to the Shiners’ Hospitals for Children. For more information on them visit: http://www.daughtersofthenile.com/
